Handmade Fine Silver Jewelry made with Precious Metal Clay (PMC)
Brookfield Wisconsin

My love of making jewelry has been a lifetime dream. I grew up in a family of jewelers where my father, brother and nephew were/are Master Watchmakers and Jewelers, so the art of using my hands to create and design something beautiful is important to me in keeping up the family tradition. I do my best to create unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. I've completed Certifications I, II and  III as a Precious Metal Clay (PMC) artist.  PMC allows me to let my mind go wild with ideas! The silver items have been protected with Wenol to give you a beautiful, lasting piece.

Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a revolutionary material developed and patented by Mitsubishi Materials of Japan. Tiny particles of pure silver are suspended in an organic binder to create a material that can be worked like modeling clay. Pieces are fired in a kiln to burn off the binder and fuse the metal. The result is a solid, 99% pure silver object.

I started out ten years ago making beaded jewelry and progressed down the line to include many different aspects of jewelry making. I love being creative and starting from a "lump of clay", to putting the final finishes and shine on a piece. Once I got my hands on PMC I was hooked.  I am very passionate about my work and I love to wear my jewelry. I get compliments wherever I go and am asked over and over if I have a website, which brings me to ArtSpan. I have sold my jewelry in galleries around the area, but this opens up more opportunity for people to see my pieces.

I have been involved with a St. Jude Golf Charity Auction for two years now and one of my pieces auctioned off for $700! What pleasure it is to know that my creativity will help children with cancer treatments. Our next one comes up in May and I am very excited to see how much I can sell to make money for St. Jude's Hospital. Last year it was $1,250 and I hope to beat that this year!
